Descriotion of Violation • <br />The use of this property has changed from a single-family residence to an adult health caze <br />facility without benefit of permits. <br />• Section 19.41.070 of the Everett Ciry code states that the occupancy of any structure <br />constructed for one type of use which is changed to another use which requires dit%rent <br />zoning code or building code standards shall not be approved until a use permit has been <br />issued by the Planning Depa►tment. <br />In addition, the residence has been enlazged, altered, and converted without the benefit of <br />building permits. <br />• Section 16.01.030 of the Everett ciry code adopts the 1997 editions of the Uniform Building <br />Code and the Unifortn Building Code Standazds, as amended by the Washington <br />Administrative Code Section 51-40, except some portions that have been deleted, modified <br />or amended by Chapter 16.01 of the city code. <br />• Uniform Building Code Section 103 states that it is unlawful for any person, firm or <br />corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, niter, repair, move, improve, remove, conveR or <br />demolish, equip, use, occupy or maintain any building or structure or cause or permit the <br />same to be done in violation of the Uniform Building Code. <br />• Uniform Building Code Section 106.1 states that permits are required when a structure <br />is constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, improved, converted or demolished unless <br />specifically exempted by the Uniform Building Code. <br />
