Should <br />!� you or your buyer wish to add insulation or storm windows and include the cost in the mortgage, (IUD is prepared to <br />make the necessary adjustments to the mortgage amount and monthly payments. For additional information ask your <br />mortgagee to contact the local (IUD office, or you may contact the HUD office at 1321 Second Avenue, Seattle, Washington j <br />98101 - telephone 442-7566. The installation of thermal protection improvements in accordance with this paragraph is <br />optional only and is not a requirement of this commitment. <br />VC-1' If property is sold under Section 221(d)(2) a certificate of compliance with the minimum housing code will be required. <br />VC-12 ,1�(t�Submit certification from the local authority that the subject property is in compliance with the Local Minimum <br />` (lousing code. <br />VC-13 Submit FHA Form 2053 completed by a licensed peat control operator. Cover entire crawl spare with acceptable vapor barrior <br />VC-221...J Q (a) Replace all deteriorated rotted or damaged wood foundation and framing members, including posts, plates, beams <br />and joists in underfloor area, with sound material. No wood to remain within 6" of the ground. <br />D(b) Replace all skirting and other wood in contact with the ground with material resistant to rot and infestation. <br />Finish all exposed new or repaired work to match exterior. No wood to remain within 6" of ground. <br />vC-23 ❑ Existing carpet in kitchen, bath may be retained if purchaser will certify that he accepts it as installed and <br />is satiafled with [ e condition oT the floor underneath. <br />VC-24 ❑ (a) Install waterproof wainscoting at _tub, _shower: _feet high and replace all water damaged materials. <br />FJ (b) Install durable plastic laminate on _kitchen, _bath, countertop and backsplash after repairing any damaged <br />underlayment. <br />VC-25 ❑ Remove the existing floor covering in the following rooms: <br />Replace with new resilient floor covering over suitable dunderlayment after making necessary repairs to subfloor. <br />VC-26 Q Submit evidence that all leased equipment has been purchased from the utility company. <br />VC-27 Ej lnstall a new forced air, wall, baseboard, or other heating sya tem adequate to heat all finished rooms to 700 <br />Fahrenheit. Submit heat loss calculations and installation plan for approval prior to installation. Space or room <br />heaters are not acceptable in dwellings of this type.
