Here are my observations. i It is my opinion that the building exterior has been neglected and has deteriorated to the point that it is now in violation of IPMC settion 304.1.1 subsections 4. 6. 7. and 8. ,, The structure is in obvious violation of IPMC section 304.2 "Protective treatmenL" Permits ro make appropriate repairs or demolish the structure are required. The condition of the inrerior of the structure is unknown as no atcess was made. Regards. I have received no respo�se from the elderly property owner Ester Pope or her family to address the lack of maintenance and repair. Per the tenants, Ester Pope is in a nursing home and her daughter Sherry Smart is the property manager. I am writing a violation citation that will 6e issued in the next few days. Can you please do an inspection of the property and let me know your thoughts as to the corrective action ordec I have been unable to get the tenant Otis Watson, in the little house on the alley to allow an inspection. Wiil permits be required to repair the roof, windows and siding? I attached a topy of the draft VC. Thanks, Cindy K
