r <br />PORT OF EVERETT <br />W MARINE VIEW DR <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />Construction Requirements <br />Removal ci Bridaes Box Culverts and Other Drainaae Structures <br />Section 2•02.3(2) is supplemented with the following: <br />CIP NO. 3A-003-09 <br />PROJECTNO. <br />PD•WM-20006-07 <br />The Contractor shall remove existing catch basins and drainage structures where shown in the Plans or <br />where designated by the Engineer. The resultant void shall be 6ackfilled with material approved by the <br />Engineer ai�d the materiai compacted to the satisfaction of the Engineer. These items shall be paid for <br />as 'Removal of Structures and Obstructions; which price shall be full pay for the removal and disposal <br />of the existing drainage structure. <br />All grates, frames and covers shall remain the property of the Contractor and will be hauled from the <br />project by the Contractor. The Contractor shall exercise reasonable care in the removai and salvaging <br />of existing grates, frames and covers and shall stockpile the salvaged grates, frames and covers in <br />locations designated by the Engineer as necessary. <br />Removal of Sians (New Sectionl <br />Section 2•02.3(4) <br />The Contractor shall remove all existing regulatory signs within the Project limits or where designated <br />by the Engineer and salvaged for the City of Everett. The Contractor shall exercise reasonable care in <br />the removal and salvaging of existing signs and shall stockpile the salvaged signs in location(s) <br />designated by the Engineer as necessary. All signs shall remain the property of the City'of Everett and <br />will be hauled from the Project by the City of Everett. The "Naval Station" and "Truck Route" destination <br />signs located at Engineer's Station 18+90, 45-feet LT mounted on an existing light pole, shall be <br />remounted on the new light pole to be located at Engineer's Station 19+05. All signs shall remain the <br />property o( lhe City of Everett. <br />Page 7 of 50 <br />
