If the review indicaoes that the mateiial, equipment, or work method is in general conformence with the design concept and complies with the contract drawings and spxificafions, the submival copies will be muked "NO BXCBPTIONS TAKEN". In this event the Contractor may begin co implement the wodc method or incoiporate the material or equipment covered by the submittal. 2. If the review indicates that the submittal is insufficient or that limited cocroctions are requirod, the submittal copies will be mazked "NOTE MARIQNCiS". 'Ihe Conhactor may begin implementing the work method or incorporating the material or equipment covered by the submittal, in accordanoe with the noud conoctions. Where submittal info�ma6on will be incocporated in operadon and maintenance data, a cornc0od copy shall be provided within 30 days, otherwise no further action will be requirod. 3. If the review reveals that the submittal is insufficient or contains incoirect data, the submittal copies will be marked "COMMENTS ATTACHED". If the comments are of a nature th,�t can be con5rmed without a resubmittal, the submittal copies will be further marked "CONE7RM". If the comments require a revision and resubmittal, the submittal copies will be further marked "RESUBMIT". Except at his own risk, the Contractor shall not undertal�e work covered by this submittal until the attached comrtxnts have been eitha confumed by a separate written communicadon or the submittal has been revised, resubmitted, and returned marked either "NO EXCEPTIONS TAKEN" or "NOTE MARKINGS". 1.6 EFFECT OF REVIEW OF CONTRAGTOR'S SUBMITTALS A. Review of drawings, methods of work, or informadon regarding materials or equipment the Contractor proposes to provide shall not relieve Conoractor of his responsibility for errors therein and for failure to comply with the Contract Drawings and Specifications and shall not be regarded as an assump6on of risks or liabiliry by the Owner, or by any officer, employee or consultant of the Owner. Contractor shaU have no claim under the Contract because of the failare, or partial failure, of the method of work, material, or equipment so rPviewed. A mark of "NO EXCEPTIONS TAKEN" or "NOTE MARKINGS" shall mean that the Owncr has no objecdon to the Contractor using the plan or method of work proposed, or providing the materials or equipment proposed. 1.7 SUBMTI'TAL CONTROL DOCUMENT A. The Contractor shall prepare and submit to the Engineer within 10 days after rxcipt of notice to proceed, a Submittal Control Document listing all items for which submittals are required. 01300-3
