TRQd IVI;TL0 The Port of Everett, P.O. Box 538, Everett, Washington 98206, (hereinafter referred to as Applicant) requested approval of a Shoreline Management Substantial Development Permit (Shoreline Permit) for the development of a project along the City of Everetfs waterfront. The project is located on the west side of West Marine View Drive, north of 18th Street (southeast corner of marina). The project consists of approximately 5.5 acres and will be a public/private proposal which will complete an access link between the north and south sides of the Port of Everett Marina and construction of commercial development framing the historic Chamber of Commerce building ano the southeast comer of the marine The proposed project will include: Existing south marina edge improvements, Including the pedestrian walkway, railing, landscaping, overlooks and street furniture, will be extended to complete the south and east edges of the marina. At the southeast corner of the marina, the walkway will span across the corner of the marine and will include a "sea fountain" or other visual element. The overlooks will be similar to the moorage access points that extend out over the bulkhead on the south edge of the marina A new pier, intended to servo the giilnet fishermen, is proposed to be located at the southeast corner of the marina. The pier will facilitate net handling between vehicles and the oxisting not repair float or a fishing twat A new transient moorage float is proposed along the eastern edge of the marina for use by fishermen, recreational boaters, charter operators, or others as appropriate
