INTRODUCTION <br />This project includes development of a new commercial retail building on approximately <br />3.4 acres near the southeast comer of the Port of Everett Marina. Future development plans <br />for the site include a hotel and a cotrunercial building as well as a farmer's market and public <br />waterfront boardwalk. The site is located between 14th Street and 18th Street along West <br />Marine View Drive. <br />The site is bordered by the existing South Marina parking lot to the west, 18th Street to the <br />south, West Marine View Drive to the east, and the marina to the northwest. The Everett <br />Chamber of Commerce building is located in the southeast corner of the site. <br />` The undeveloped parcel is currently compacted gravel and fill, with some paving and <br />I landscaping surrounding the existing Chamber Building. The proposed commercial <br />building will cover approximately 10,000 square feet. The proposed future hotel and <br />commercial building will cover approximately 10,000 and 4,000 square feet respectively. In <br />addition to these buildings, a public boardwalk, open market, landscaping, a sidewalk along <br />Marine View Drive, and other amenities are included as part of the complete project. <br />I Through an agreement between the Port of Everett and the city of Everett, 6-month, 24-hour <br />storm events from the entire newly developed 3.4 acre site, as well as runoff from the <br />existing Chamber of Commerce s,te and a portion of the existing South Marina parking lot, <br />Iwill be diverted to the City of Everett sanitary sewer system. <br />
