0 <br />You are invited to atiend an OPEN HOUSE at the Port of Everett YACHT CLUB on WEDNESDAY. <br />FEBRUARY 16th, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. This project and the City's Pedestrian Bridge will be on display. <br />There will be an informal presentation of each of the projects at about 4:00 and again at about 6:00. In <br />(Iddition, Port and City staffs will be available to answer questions. <br />WAIF 1%17.11-970 <br />DETERMINATION OF NON SIGNIFICANCE <br />Description of Proposal: The development proposed for the area will involve a number of elements serving a <br />wide variety of user groups. They include <br />• Irnprovements to the street edge along M:Lrinr. View Drive, <br />• A new pier south of Olympic Fish Compa.,v, <br />• A new transient moorage float along the ea+t, dge of the marina, <br />• The existing south marina walkway aril/ railing will be extended to complete the south and southeast edge <br />of the v.taruna. <br />• A Farmer's Market, multi -use facility. willbe ... 1 near the proposed pier. <br />• Harbor Mountain Development, a private company, will construct a 80 urut hotel and approx. 30:100 sq. <br />ft. of multiple use commercial/office space near the Weyerhaeuser building. <br />• 71ne development will include approximately 250 parking spaces. <br />Location or proposal, including street address: The six acre, 1." shaped development area is located on <br />the west side of West Marine View Drive, north of the "l8dn Street' entrance to the south marina and <br />sum)uIlds the southeast comer of the marina. <br />The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it dues not nave a probable sigluficant adverse unpact <br />on the cnvirotuuent. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW <br />43.2IC.030(s)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other <br />intimnation on file with the lead agency. 11nis information is available to the public on request. <br />This DNS is issued under 197-11-340(2); the lead agency will not act on this proposal for fifteen (15) days <br />for the date below.
