The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2003 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division witli two complete new sets of construction documents reflecting tlie corrections requested. 1. The scope of work for this submittal appears to be the ins.allation of a temporary job shack, yet the submitted details and structural calculations only address the access ramp. It appears that the ramp �vill be accessing a modified modular building above a shipping storage container. Please provide a structural analysis and resulting design with detailing lo sliow how the container and the modular building are to be supported. The design must comply �vith chapter 16 of the IBC. 2. Apparently, the modular building lias been altered with an expansion of floor space. If so, structural responsibility for the building will need to be assigned either through the cerlification process at L� I, or by a new analysis and certification by the engineer of record. 3. IE3C 1607.3 requires a design live load of 100 psf for all exits. The submitted ramp desi9n is based on a live load of 40 psf. Please revise.
