CITY OF EVERETT,WASHINGTON <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> 100th STREET SW PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS <br /> W.O. #3232 <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City Clerk at the City Clerk's <br /> Office, 1st Floor Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, Washington 98201, until 2:00 p.m., on <br /> Tuesday, July 11, 2006, for the construction of approximately 624 linear feet of street improvement, <br /> including removal of existing improvement, excavation, constructing new curb and gutter, sidewalks, <br /> inlets, catch basins, storm drainage and landscaping, described more completely in the specifications <br /> and contract documents, entitled "City of Everett, Washington, Specifications for "100 Street SW <br /> Pedestrian Improvements, W.O. #3232," and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud. <br /> The engineer's estimate for this project is $85,756.00. <br /> Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project may be viewed or ordered on- <br /> line from Builder's Exchange at http://www.bxwa.com/bxwa toc/public/everett.html. The City of <br /> Everett strongly encourages contractors to register for the bidder's list kept at Builder's Exchange of <br /> Washington, Inc. Builder's Exchange is located at 2607 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. <br /> Their phone number is 425-258-1303. <br /> For technical questions regarding this project, contact Narci Ricafrente, Project Engineer, City of <br /> Everett, at 425-257-8800, ext. 7285. <br /> All proposals must be made upon the regular forms provided in the Proposal Section of the contract <br /> documents and must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than 5% of <br /> the successful bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities. No <br /> bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof.
