Acceptance <br /> of the 10%petition by City Council will allow the applicant to gather signatures on the 75%petition. At the <br /> June 21, 2006 meeting City Council will determine whether the City Council will: (1) approve the attempted <br /> gathering of petition signatures representing 75% of the assessed valuation of properties found within the <br /> annexation boundaries as depicted upon the attached map, (2) geographically modify the proposed <br /> annexation area, (3) require the adoption of a comprehensive plan for the area proposed for annexation, and <br /> (4)require the assumption of existing City indebtedness by owners of property within the proposed <br /> annexation area. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Set June 21, 2006 as the date to consider <br /> acceptance of the 10% petition and Notice of Intent submitted for the Silver Acres Annexation. <br /> 30 <br />
