Additional Required -0- DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: The City of Everett is a major regional water supplier. As such, Everett participates as a key member of the Central Puget Sound Water Suppliers' Forum along with all of the major water supply organizations within Snohomish, King and Pierce Counties. The Forum coordinates and performs regional water supply activities within this three county area. One of its most recent activities has been to contract with the University of Washington to improve short-range streamflow forecasting for the streams feeding our water supply storage facilities such as Spada Reservoir. In 2006, the Forum is initiating an update of the three-county regional water demand forecast and an assessment of the regional water supply options for meeting long-range water needs taking climate change into account. The annual revenue needed by the Forum is $300,000. and Everett's allocated share is $65,000.
