Bruce, P:E., datAd March 20, Z000 • C1ty of Everett approved plans by Phil King Designs • Site Plans • Photographs jNSPECTIONS: As stated in the March 20, 2000 geotechnical reporl, the rear slope (behind the newly constructed iree-standing garage) was stable and revealed no evidence of any geotechnical distress. The garage has been constructed in acoordance with the approved plans, and did not create any negat�ve impacts to the adjacent siopes. As recommended by this engineer, contractor installed a Catchment wall consisting of sfx inch by sfx inch (6 x 6) posts embedded in concrete a minimum of ?hree and one•haif fest (3.5') into the stable ground. Three inch (3") trested tknber lagging was placed on the inside face of the pusts along tha length of the new garage (see ph�tographs). As previously stated, the subgrade soils consist primarily of iree- draining sands. Thus, drainage Is9ues are not a sfgnificnr: concern. Contractor imported gravel to plece between the previous stable slope cut and the new catchment wall (see photographs).
