CITY OF EVERETT <br /> Ordinance No. 869-82 <br /> Abandoned and Junk Vehicles . <br /> on Private Property <br /> On June 9, 1982, the Everett City Council passed Ordinance No. 869-82 <br /> providing Por abatement and removal of wre�ked, dismantled or inoperative <br /> vehicles ar automobile hulks or parts thereof from privat� property. <br /> The following sections of Ordinance 869-82 apply to the vehicles situated <br /> on your property: <br /> 1 . Section 2-A of the Ordinance provides as follows : <br /> All wrecked, dismantled or inoperative vehicles or automobile <br /> hulks, whether abandoned or not. placed or situated upon <br /> private property within the City limits shall constitute <br /> a crimfnal violation and shall be sub3ect to the penaltie� <br /> as set forth in Section 1� of this ordinance and are also <br /> public nuisances to be abated as provided in this chapter; <br /> provided, however, that this chapter shalt not apply to : <br /> A. A vehicle or part thereof which is completely enclosed <br /> within a buildi�g in a lawful manner where it is not <br /> visible from the street or other public or private <br /> property; or <br /> B. A vehicle or part thereof which is stored or parked in <br /> a lawful manner on private property in connection with <br /> the business of a licensed vehicle dealer, fenced <br /> according to the provisions of RCW 46.80.130. <br /> 2. Se�tlon 1-C of the ordinance defines "Automobile Hulk" as `ollows : <br /> "Automobile hulk" means any portion or portions of a . <br /> mc�or vehicle which is inoperative and cannot be made <br /> mechanically operative without additional vital parts <br /> and a substantial amount of labor. <br />
