These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departmentr (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2012 International Building Code,} (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to contirtue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new oomplete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested, along with a reduced set of plans no larger than 11"x 17". 1. The soffit detail on sheet A-1.1 shows insulation at the roof parellel to the top chord of the attic trusses. The Floor plan of the attic area shows that the space is unheated. The ceiling above heated space is required to be insulated to minimum R-49. Show how ceiling above the main floor is insulated to min. R 49 (see "W"A5.0). 2. Provide 1-Hour fire —resistive construction on north exterior wall. Provide detail of listed 1-Hour assembiy with exposure from both sides.
