<br /> Because of the large pedestrian volumes in downtown, traffic signals were
<br /> recently re-timed to favor the pedestrian movements on the local and collector
<br /> streets. This resulted in pedestrians spending much less time waiting for traffic
<br /> signals to change.
<br /> A new traffic signal was also installed at Broadway and Wall Street to
<br /> accommodate pedestrian movements from the Everett Event Center to the
<br /> Everett Station Multi-modal Center.
