The addresses of those structures are
1807 & 1809 — 22nd Street and 2129 Rockefeller.
During the past month, several cemplaints had been received frem several
neighbors surrounding these buildings and that is what prompted ttie
inspection. The ccmplaints were as follows:
1. All the buildings are vacant and open.
2. Transients are living in the buildings.
3. Minor ch.ildren have been seen entering the buildings.
4, Neighbors had talked with the owner and asked him to do something
with the buildings and he never did.
During the inspection, a car pulled up and parked behind 1807 — 22nd Street.
I did not see the occupants of the vehicle but I heard voices as they entered
the house through the back door. Voices could be heard froR inside because of
windows missing from the house.
As Mr. C2llahan and I walked by the front of the house, a male individual came
out the bark door around to the front of the house. He identified himself (I
can't remember his name) and I identified myself, but did not identify 1•1r.
Callahan. The individual said they were there to work on the house, they had
Tom McKee's permission and were about ready to have the water and lights
turned on.
Prior to the inspection, I performed some research and found tYat all three
buildings were supplied with water from one service. That service was at 2129
Rockefeller and was metered. I also checked with PUD and the electricity to
all three structures was shut off.
I asked the individual is he was living there and he said no.
Mr. Callahan and I continued our inspection of the buildings, conducting an
external inspection only.
