ro File ',,� /� E'V�fC-'tt FROM Marian Payne, Housing I�spector /�j DATE September 28, 1987 SUBJECT 18�J7 - 22nd Street CITV OFEVERETT EVERETT WASHINGTON On Wednesday, September 16, 1987, Larry Callahan and myself went to the area of three buildings for an inspection. The addresses of those structures are 1807 6 1809 - 22nd Street and 2129 Rockefeller. During the past month, several complaints had been received from several neighbors surrounding these buildings and that is what pranpted the insoection. The ccxnplaints were as follows: 1. All the buildings are vacant and open. 2. Transients are living in the buildings. 3. Minor children have been seen entering the buildings. 4. Neighbors had talked with the owner and asked him to do sanething with the buildings and he never did. During the inspection, a car pulled up and parked behind 1807 - 2�d Street. I did not see the occ�ants of the vehicle but I heard voices as they entered the house through the back door. Voices could be heard fran inside because of windows missing fran the house. As Mr. Callahan and I walked by the front of the house, a male individual came out the back door around to the front of the house. He identified himselP (I can't remember his name) and I identified myself, but did not identify Mr. Callahan. The individual said they were tF:ere to work on the house, they had Tan McKee's permission and were about ready to have the water and lights tumed on. Prior to the inspection, I performed sane research and found that all three buildings were supplied with water from one service. That service was at 2129 Rockefeller and was metered. T. alsc� checked with PUD and the electricity to all three structures was shut off. I asked the individual is he was living there and he said no. Mr. Callahan and I continued our inspection of the buildings, conducting an extemal inspection only.
