The <br />Uniform Buii;iing Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authoriud <br />by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of <br />180 days. If you wish to prevent the permit from expiring without documentation of <br />completion, you may: <br />� <br />or <br />1) Request an inspection of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />2) Request final inspeaion if the work is completed, <br />3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Pleue respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records <br />Department for microfilming without final approval.
