On March 6, 1990, <br />Linda Gough and I inspected the site. ps we approached the <br />garage on the rear of the property, a young man was exlting <br />the upper portion of the two story garage. After we <br />identi£ied ourselves, he identi£ied himself as Dennis and one <br />uf the tenants of the qarage. <br />Upon questioning Uennis, we found that there were two one <br />room units in the upper portion of the garage and two units <br />in the lower portion of the garage for a total nf four <br />dwelling units in the garage. There are no bathroom <br />facilities in the building. Tenants mu3t go to the main <br />structure to use bathroom facilities. <br />I asked Dennis if we could look in his unit and he complied. <br />The unit was one room approx. 8' x 8'. <br />I asked Uennis if he could relocate within three days and he <br />:3aid no, it would be impossible. I advised him that I waa <br />ready to post the bullding "Illegal to Uccupy" and shewed he <br />the Notices. I !:I�en advised him that under the <br />circumatances, I would not poat the building right th=n but <br />it would be posted within the next week. I asked him to let <br />the other tenants oi' the building know what the City was <br />planning on doing.
