The City of Everett Building Inspection Division received a complaint regarding the exterior steps of this house. An inspection of the steps at the front porch of the house was conducted, and it was noted that the steps are completely rotted away from the front porch landing. The steps have rotted to such a degree that the run �f the steps is missing in some places. The steps are loose and dangerous. During the inspection, it was noted that the roof of the building is completely covered with moss, deteriorated and rotted. With such conditions, the roof may be deteriorated to such a degree that it is leaking and may possibly become more deteriorated and weakened under a heavy snow load. These conditions may be sufficient •[o declare the building to be substandard and/or dangerous pursuart to the Uniform Housin; Code and/or the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings as adopted by ord�nance by the City of Everett. Your itnmediate attention is required in correcting these conditions. Please contact this office within ten (10) days of your receipt of this letter with a plan of action to accomplish this. Any work perfomied on the building may require building permits.
