Box 1299 <br />Everetl,Wash.98206 <br />258-3667 <br />17 IT <br />................................ .............. <br />.._-.r <br />CITY 07 EVERETT J <br />Public Works wept, <br />As of this date, the Board of Directors for the Y.M.C.A. has <br />issued a temporary hold on work at the new Y.M.C.A. located <br />at Rockefeller and California in Everett, Washington. This <br />hold is effective for an undetermined period of time. <br />It is Cobra's understanding that this decision was made by <br />the Board of Directors because pledge monies were slow in <br />coming. In addition with the current interest situation, <br />a long term mortgage was undesirable. <br />It is further understood by Cobra that the new 'Y' will be <br />built; but the time frame for resumption of work is entirely <br />predicated on sufficient monies to build with short term <br />mortgages. <br />Therefore, Cobra Construction is requesting that you tempo- <br />rarily discontinue all work related to this project.
