Boring <br />R-1 I, loc:ded bet���ecn the proposed and existing Administration Buildings, encountered 28 fect <br />of vcry loosc fill, which ���as probabiy placcd during construction of thc cxisting Administration <br />13uilding. <br />'l.3 Grouncl��atcr <br />Groundwatcr conJitions wcrc evalu�tcd by obscrvations madc dwing drilling and by inst�lling <br />observation wells in borings B-9, B-I 1, [3-14, B-17, and I3-18. \Vet, caving soils were <br />cncountcrcd in borings B-12A, B-16A, and B-16B. Thc rccent mcasurcmcnts indicatc that thc <br />ground�vatcr clevations in the wclls rangc bchvccn about 106 and 126 fcct, or about 26 to 36 feet <br />bclow ground surfacc.
