REPORT FROM: Marian Dent, Housinq Inspector, Citv of Everett DATE: January 23, 1993 SUBJ; 3315 Rockefeller, Everett, WA 3i1 N, This City of �verett Buildinq Division received a complaint reqarding problems with the electrical service, plumbing and heating systems. Upon r-eceiving the complaint an inspectior� was conducted and the fiollowinq deficiencies were noted pw-suant to the Unifiorm Housinq Code as adopted by the City of Everett: 1. The ele�trical svstem has Geen add=d onto witt�out permits being issued and in�;pections being c�nducted. The work is illegal and may 6e considered dangerous. 2. The kitchen sink drain has an illegal s trap. z. The bathroom sink drain leaks causing the floor and the vanity to rot forin moisture. 4. There is only 8 1/2 inches between the front of the toilet seat and the vanity holding the batliroom sink. There shall be a clear space in front of the water r_loset stool of not less than 24 inches. 5. The outlet on the bathroom light fixture does not wor':, it is not a legal outlet and, it is the orlr o��tlet in the bathroom. b. The hot water tanks in tlie basement ,�o ��ot have correct venting on the pressure relief valves. Wire=_ on one tanl� ' are not in conduit. 7 One basement window on the South side of t�ne building does not have glazing. There is new wiring strung throughout the basement. IVc permits were issued and no inspections con�lucted on the work. 9. There i�� no hand rail on the basement stair case. Li�.
