Riser diagrams must match installation <br /> plans and load calculations. Components must be listed and approved for use together. <br /> Changes to plans must include new drawings and calculations and must be approved by the <br /> Fire Department Plan Reviewer prior to installation. Fire alarm installation is subject to field <br /> inspection by a Fire Department Inspector. Carbon monoxide alarms must be installed in all new residential construction in R-1, <br /> R-2, and R-3 occupancies per 2009 International Fire Code, Section 907.2.8.4. <br /> 27. A ventilating hood and duct system with an approved automatic fire-extinguishing system <br /> shall be provided in accordance with the Mechanical Code for commercial type food heat- <br /> processing equipment that produces grease-laden vapors. <br /> 28. An approved automatic suppression system shall be provided as required by City Ordinance <br /> No. 3021-07, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal Code. The system must include a <br /> mechanical water gong bell. <br /> Plans for any such system shall be submitted to the Engineering &: Public Services <br /> Department for examination and approval. Such plans shall include plans for the <br /> underground mains that will supply the sprinkler system. <br /> The sprinkler type will be determined by the Building Official.
