I
' I
i
d
I
I
I
REPORT
FROM: Marian Dent, Housing Inspector
DATE: May 14, 1992
SUBJ; 3430 1/2 Rockefeller
After receiving a complaint, an inspection was conducted and
the following was noted:
There was a great deal of water coming from the unit
above into this unit. The tenant in the upper apartment
allowed me to make an inspection of the bathroom area to
determine what the problem was. While in the bathroom I
noted that the toilet frequently run. I asked the
tenant if that happened often and she said yes. It is
my suspicion that the seal on the toilet drain has
broken and a great deal of the water is entering the
basement apartment.
I have been attempting to contact the owners or managers of
the building to advise them of the sericusness of this
problem.
