Based on my field observations and conversation with the contractor <br />it is my understanding that the connection shown below has been provided at <br />the shear walls. - • � <br />F- --- S W <br />(=- — /,�JU LTP�! I recommend that framing plates be <br />added at the designated shear walls as necessary to achieve the required <br />shear transfer between floors. Based on the shear wall schedule provided on <br />sheet A3/13 of the approved structural drawings the foliowing connectors <br />should be added. <br />Wall Type Allowable Shear <br />Roof 180 plf <br />floor 215 plf <br />SW1 260 plf <br />SW2 145 plf <br />Required Connection at Rim Joist <br />LTP4 @ 3'-0" o.c. max. <br />LTP4 @ 2'-6" o.c. max. <br />LTP4 @ 2'-0" o.c. max. <br />LTP4 @ 4'-0" o.c. max. <br />If at any location the length of the designated shear wall is less than the <br />spacing specified above provide one LTP4 at each end of the wall. <br />Please call me if you have any further questions. <br />End of inemo. <br />� <br />�� <br />
