The bid opening was held at 2:00 p.m., October 24, 1996. <br />Roll was called with all councilme:nbers voting yes. <br />Motion carricd. <br />•u C : <br />Moved by Councilmember Pope, seconded by Councilmem6er Campbell ro <br />authorize the 1�Iayor to enter into a latecomer agreement with Robert Webb <br />for sewer and rvater service. <br />Robert Webb has prop�sed and received preliminary approval for an eight lot <br />short plat off Seah�rst Avenue. Tlie project will require the extension of a public <br />sewer main which will serve other residents on Seahurst that aze presently served <br />by septic systems. The new sewer main will not only allow the existing residents <br />to connect to the public sewer system, but provide the opportunity for further <br />development of their property. <br />All affected propeRy owners have been contacted by certified mail of the <br />proposed latecomers agreement. While a number of property owners contacted <br />Mr. Webb's engineer for additional informatior., it appeazs the proposed sewer <br />has azea support.
