NEIGHBOR REPORTS THEY <br />ADDED 2ND FLOOR AND NOW HAVE THE HOUSE FOR SALE. <br />Permits C0606-022 (sheetrock) and E0606-209, issued 6/30/06, have had no inspections. <br />No active Code Compliance case. <br />2/16/07 Site Inspection by Tony Lee: <br />1) STOP WORK order posted on front door 10:30 a.m. 2/16/07. <br />2; As seen from outside (no one present) new/converted 2nd story and interior <br />remodel on lst floor. <br />3) Permits required include Building, Electrical and possibly Plumbing and <br />Mechanical. <br />4) Contact Building Dept to secure permits -- plans required. <br />Addendum to stop work inspection, 6314 Rockefeller, 2/16/07 <br />As I was about to post the stop work order, one of the co-owners came to the door (I <br />had knocked about 10 minutes prior). We discussed the lack of permit for the <br />construction. He believed that the contractor secured the required permits; I assured <br />him that we had no relevant permits on file. I asked if he would let me in and he did. <br />I was able to investigate the extent of the construction; the attic has been substantially <br />modified to add a second Floor to include a shed roof the entire length of the back side. <br />2 bedrooms and a bathroom were added to the second Floor as well as an interior <br />spiral staircase inside. Over the carport are the bzginnings of an exterior deck <br />addition. <br />Also - a steel-frame carport is under construction in the back (alley). It should be <br />added to the permit process. <br />I told the owner that plans and permits were required and that all work must stop. I <br />posted the stop work order on the front door. <br />
