Many <br />of the corrections detailed at the last inspections involve life safety issues (see <br />reports attached). Sections 105.5 and R105.5 of the International Building Code and <br />International Residential Code state that permits become invalid if the work is not commenced <br />or is suspended or abandoned for more than 180 days. Work under your permits will no longer <br />be authorized unless you: <br />1) Demonstrate continuing progress by requesting inspection of work that has occurred since <br />your last inspection, or <br />2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, or <br />3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension, detailing justifiable cause for extension. <br />It is your responsibility to ensure that permitted work is properly and safely completed, and that <br />all required inspections are performed. Please contact us by Mar:.h 21, 2011 to schedule <br />inspections or request extension. After that time the file will be sent to microfilm without <br />final approval. <br />Please note that we will not be sending repeated letters if after furtl�er inspections the permit <br />once again reaches expiration.
