Call (425) 257-8124 to make an appointment for <br />inspection. <br />Contractors' materials and test certificates shall be submitted to the Everett Fire <br />Department prior to issuance of any certificates of occupancy. <br />46. Construction and demolition of buildings shall be in compliance with the <br />provisions of the 2006 International Fire Code, Chapter 14. <br />47. Buildings containing high -piled combustible storage shall be in accordance with <br />Chapter 23 of the 2006 International Fire Code and NFPA 13. A Fire <br />Department permit is required for high -piled storage. <br />48. Permits are required from the Fire Department for removal and installation of <br />underground fuel tanks. <br />49. Abandoned tanks shall be pumped out and the fuel properly disposed of prior to <br />removal. No product or rinse water may be disposed of in such a way that it <br />could enter the storm drains system. <br />50. The storage, handling and use of flammable or combustible liquids shall comply <br />with Chapter 34 of the International Fire Code, 2006 Edition. <br />51. The location of Fire Department connections (FDC) and post indicator valves <br />(PIV) shall be determined by the Fire Code Official. If immediate outside <br />mandoor access is available to the sprinkler valves (risers), a PIV will not be <br />required. <br />52. Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity shall be located a minimum of 5 feet <br />from the building [IFC 304.2.3, 2006 Edition]. <br />53. Spray application of flammable finishes must be in accordance with the 2006 <br />International Fire Code, Chapter 15. <br />54. Welding/cutting/other hot work must be in accordance with Chapter 26 of the <br />2006 International Fire Code, including welding booths and other protective <br />systems. <br />Done and dated this 17th day of April, 2008. <br />James M.
