 C
SITE INFORMATION TrGT
1 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The proposed project site is located on Smith Island along the northern shoreline of the Snohomish River at
approximate River Mile 1.5 immediately cast of State Route 529 within the City, of Everett, Washington (Section
9, Township 29 north, Range 05 cast, W.M.). The site is bounded on the south by the Snohomish River, on the
north by Ross Avenue, the west by an outdoor storage yard owned by The G )llman Company (parcel
#29050800101109) and east by a sawmill chip storage facility (parcel 929050900200800) owned by Dunlap
Towing.
1,
The project is comprised of two tax parcels with corresponding tax account numbers 29050900200400 and
00439600001005 and is located cast of State Route 529, within the northeast quarter of Section 8 and northwest
quarter of Section 9, Township 29 N., Range 5 E., W.M., in the City of Everett.
STOILNIWATER MANAGEMENT
Stormwater Detention is not required, because the site discharges into an exempt receiving Water Body. This site
meets all restrictions uutlined in Appendix I-E, Plow Control -Exempt Surface Waters.
WATER QUALITY
Pollution generating surfacing will be routed to one of several DOE approved Contech Stormwater StormPilters®
sized to treat a small tributary basin.
EROSION CONTROL
The entire site will be graded as a part of the initial phase of construction. This is necessary in order to prepare
the site for construction of the ironworks facility. During and after grading, the site will be stabilized with
appropriate BIvIPs consisting of sil' fencing, mulching, temporary .,edimcnt traps and hydroseeding. A temporary
constriction entrance will be installed for related traffic. A Storm Water Pollution Prevention Report and
associated plans will be generated for this project which will detail all proposed as well as additional erosion and
sediment control Best Management Practices.
Drainage Report Page 3
McClean Ironworks May 8, 2008
Revised July 8, 2008
