Box 593 <br /> LaConner, WA 98257 <br /> to undertake the following development: Development of a wood chip handling <br /> facility on a five acre site adjacent to the Snohomish River. The proposal <br /> includes the following: 1) removal of existing buildings and debris, 2) <br /> filling approximately seventy-five percent (.6 acres) of two existing ponds, <br /> 3) regrading the entire site and replanting areas not asphalted, 4) asphalting <br /> approximately 80 percent of the site to be used for chip loading and storage, <br /> 5) importing up to 9000 cubic yards of dredge spoils to flood proof the site, <br /> 6) installation of a conveyor and rotating telescoping loading spout mounted <br /> about 58 feet above grade to transfer the chips for a distance of about <br /> 130 feet over the water to the barges, 7) bank stabilization along the <br /> shoreline and enhancement of natural vegetation to provide habitat for <br /> wildlife, 8) construction of an approximately 500 square foot office building, <br /> and 9) installation of dolphins <br /> upon the following property: W 1/2 of Section 9, T. 29, R.5.E.W.M. <br /> Within the Snohomish River and/or its associated wetlands. <br /> The project will be within shorelines of state-wide significance (RCW <br /> 90.58.030). The project will be located within an Urban designation. The <br /> following *Snohomish County Master Program provisions are applicable to this <br /> development: <br /> E-3 and 4; F-35, 36, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 62, 63, and 64 <br /> *The area was annexed to the City of Everett in 1984 and the Everett Master <br /> Program has not been updated to include this area so the Snohomish County <br /> Master Program is the controlling document. <br /> ENCLoSVRE <br />
