CB ) <br />RE: Rental Property at 3405b Rockefeller, Everett WA. <br />Mr. Ricard: <br />On Monday, May 16, 2007 I received a phone call from your tenant, Edith <br />TalvPra, at 3405b Rockefeller (her address for the property was given as 3407 <br />Yz). The concern was that the building is leaning and continues to lean further, <br />as well as a gas water heater that is leaning. <br />i was able to inspect the house ��ith a city inspector that afternoon. We found <br />the following discrepancies that need immediate attention: <br />1. No smoke detectors were present in the house. One is required in each <br />sleeping room, at the top of the stairs, and one downstairs. <br />2. The hot water heater is leaning. It appears that the vent and vent shroud <br />are helping to keep the tank vertical, but the shroud is not desiyned to <br />hold up the tank and is breaking under the strain. The tank must be <br />strapped to the structure to keep it from falling over. <br />3. The floors are not level and walls are leaning in the east-west direction. <br />Please contact me at (425) 257-8812 to discuss a time schedule where the items <br />above will be corrected.
