The Nutrifibre is stored at the City's property commonly known as the Riverside site. During the wet season, saturated soil conditions at the Riverside site severely restrict loading and hauling of the Nutrifibre. Loading and hauling can only occur when soil conditions are drier. This summer, loading operations were delayed and shortened our opportunity to haul out the Nutrifibre. Additional time will be needed to remove the remaining volume of Nutrifibre. The Residuals Sales Agreement with Evergreen On-site expires on September 30, 2006. We have expended $185,360.00,the remaining budget is$170,240.00. This Change Order adds an additional 360 days to the Agreement duration. No additional expenditure is required. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Change Order No. 1 to the Residuals Sales Agreement with Series Seven Inc. DBA Evergreen On-site extending the contract completion date at no cost to the city. 3
