Amount Budgeted $110,000 Expenditure Required $20,000 UP 3230-1-1-410& UP 3230-3-1-410 Budget Remaining $18,000 Additional Required .00 DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: A Professional Services Agreement with Kroll Schiff&Associates to design security improvements for the Water Filtration Plant&Water Pollution Control Facility in the amount of$72,000.00 was approved February 24, 2006. Pursuant to recent examination of the Lake Chaplin area these additional improvements in the amount of$20,000.00 are necessary to meet concerns about security for portals No.3,No 4 and No.5 at the Water Filtration Plant. The design work shall include security device drawings, infrastructure drawings and technical specifications regarding motion detection and CCTV monitoring. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the mayor to sign Amendment No. 2 increasing the scope and design for the Professional Services Agreement with Kroll Schiff&Associates for the design of security improvements at the WFP & WPCF. b
