These <br /> vehicles are available from a contract competitively bid by the City of Colorado Springs. The City has an <br /> intergovernmental agreement with Colorado Springs that allows us to make purchases from their Gillig bus <br /> contract in lieu of soliciting bids on our own. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Approve the purchase of four(4) Gillig 40-foot buses from a Contract competitively awarded by the City of <br /> Colorado Springs in the amount of$1,475,128.92. <br /> 30 <br />
