Received Checked By
At the request of John Mustach with Signature Homes, I come onsite to conduct a final inspection of the reconstructed
rockery along the west side of the project site. Construction of the rockery is now completed, but we have not been
requested to provide inspection services during its construction. We were, however, furnished with photos taken
during construction, showing placement of 2-to-4-inch drain rock and geogrid mesh in layers. We observed during our
site visit that sufficient large and durable rocks are used for facial stones of the rockery and that the face of the
rockery is tilted back at an inclination no steeper than 6V:1 H. A curb is built along part of the rockery-side edge of
the paved driveway to keep runoff from spilling towards the rockery. A catch basin is installed near the base of the
driveway to collect runoff over the paved driveway. It should be made sure that no runoff over the driveway would be
flowing off the driveway towards the rockery.
Based on the above, it is my conclusion that the rockery appears to be constructed in compliance with our design
and that the rockery appears to be stable.
13, s.' , 4.' 4:3' . .11171,1....
