RESOLUTION NO. 4857 <br /> A RESOLUTION for waiving the public bidding requirements and for the sole source purchase <br /> from Cues, Inc. of TV inspection equipment for our van mounted TV inspection system. <br /> WHEREAS, Everett City Council awarded Bid 1991-018 to Cues, Inc. for one (1) Hi Cube van <br /> mounted TV inspection system on June 26, 1991; and <br /> WHEREAS, the original equipment needs to be upgraded by adding a pan and tilt track driven <br /> camera equipped with 1,500 feet of cable so that larger sewer mains can be inspected; and <br /> WHEREAS, retrofit equipment must be compatible with the existing equipment; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Cues, Inc. is the manufacturer and sole source for this equipment, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that because there is clearly and legitimately only one source of supply for Cues TV <br /> inspection equipment, the City hereby waives competitive bidding requirements and authorizes <br /> the Purchasing Manager to execute an agreement for the purchase of the subject equipment for a <br /> quoted price of$38,988, including Washington State sales tax. <br /> Council person Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 5th day of January, 2000 <br /> Council resident <br />
