"11Plim <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4854 <br /> A RESOLUTION for waiving the public bidding requirements and for the sole source purchase <br /> from APSCO of replacement parts for our Infilco Degremont bar screen. <br /> WHEREAS, an Infilco Degremont bar screen was installed as part of the original construction <br /> project at the Everett Water Pollution Control Facility; and <br /> WHEREAS, replacement parts must be compatible with the original equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, APSCO, Inc. is the manufacturer's sole distributor of Infilco equipment in this four <br /> state region, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that because there is clearly and legitimately only one source of supply for Infilco <br /> Degremont bar screen replacement parts, the City hereby waives competitive bidding <br /> requirements and authorizes the Purchasing Manager to execute an agreement for the purchase of <br /> the subject equipment for a quoted price of$49,249.01, including Washington State sales tax. <br /> ouncil person Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 29th day of December <br /> Council President / <br />
