RESOLUTION NO. 4830 A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Everett, Washington, declaring its intention to order the installation of street improvements, widening Evergreen Way from 5 lanes to 7 lanes with curbs, gutters and sidewalks, between 112th Street SW and Airport Road, to create a local improvement district to be known as Local Improvement District No. 737, to assess a portion of the cost and expense of carrying out those improvements against the properties specially benefited thereby, and notifying all persons who desire to object to the improvements to appear an present their objections at a hearing before the City Council to be held on December 8, 1999. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT that: Section 1: It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Everett, Washington, to order the improvements of the properties within the area described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, by the installation of street improvements on Evergreen Way, from 112th Street SW to Airport Road, as further described in Exhibit B attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. All of the foregoing improvements shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor prepared by the City Engineer and may be modified by the City as long as that modification does not affect the purpose of the improvements. Section 2: The total estimated cost and expense of the improvements is declared to be $1,005,800. Approximately $292,000 of the cost and expense shall be borne and assessed against the property specially benefited by the improvement in the area to be known as Local Improvement District No. 737. Actual assessments may vary from estimated assessments as long as they do not exceed a figure equal to the increased true and fair value the improvements add to the property.
