RESOLUTION NO. 4825 EYERETT <br /> A Resolution adjusting rates for untreated industrial water and City installed service <br /> connections. <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2230-97 was adopted on July 2, 1997, establishing the current water <br /> rates for Everett water customers; and <br /> WHEREAS, the 1999 water cost of service study has been completed; and <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that all customer classes are covering cost of service with the <br /> exception of untreated industrial water; and <br /> WHEREAS, a rate adjustment is needed to cover the cost of providing untreated industrial <br /> water; and <br /> WHEREAS, a rate adjustment is needed to cover the cost of city installed service connections; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 7 of Ordinance 2230-97 authorized rate changes by resolution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of Everett that: <br /> Section 1: Effective November 1, 1999, and thereafter, the monthly water rates and <br /> charges, monthly minimum charges, filtration charges, and provisions relating to rates and charges <br /> throughout the water system shall be as follows: <br /> A. Within the City Limits <br /> 1. Fixed rate accounts - minimum monthly water charge $13.55 <br /> Filtration charge 2.95 <br /> Total Fixed Rate $16.50 <br /> 2. a. Domestic metered rates - water charge <br /> First 600 cu. ft., 0-600 cu. ft. $8.49 <br /> Over 600 cu. ft. 1.415 per 100. cu. ft <br /> b.
