For all <br /> other fans that penetrate fire resistive ceilings, ceiling radiation dampers (or an approved <br /> alternate) should be detailed on the plans. Section 716.6.2 <br /> 6. A two-hour fire-resistive listing should be provided for the structure (steel beams) <br /> supporting the two-hour floor ceiling assembly(RC7) shown in Detail 1/A8.3 in the Type <br /> portion of the building. <br /> 7. It should be verified that at least one elevator(that serves both the highest floor and each <br /> floor of the project is sized to accommodate a stretcher in the lay-down position. That <br /> elevator should be identified with the 'Star of Life'. Section 3002.4 as revised by COE <br /> 8. The locations of the smoke detectors should be shown on the plans. Section 907.2.10 <br /> 9. Safety glazing should be shown for the glazing within 5' of the bottom of the bottom of the <br /> stairs within the dwelling units. Section 2406.3, Item 11 <br /> 10. Access to the roof should be provided in buildings 3 & 4. Section 1009.11 <br /> 13. Special inspection should be required on the plans for the pressurization of elevator <br /> shafts. Section 909.18.8 <br /> 15. Tactile exit signs stating EXIT and complying with ICC A117.1 should be shown adjacent <br /> to each door to an egress stairway, exit passageway and exit discharge. Section 1011.3 <br /> Accessibility (ANSI A117.1-2003) <br /> 16. As there is a possibility that Phase 2 will not be constructed, Unit 24 should conform to <br /> the Type A dwelling unit requirements. Details and elevations should be provided. <br /> Section 1107.6 <br /> 17. Door P1-10 should be shown to have a minimum of 18" clearance to the near side wall <br /> (pull direction).
