This fund was established to enable the <br /> construction of pedestrian and bicycle improvement including sidewalks, curbs and gutters on Terminal <br /> Avenue between California Street and Bond Street. During the design phase,the Port of Everett received a <br /> federal mandate to make certain security improvements to their South Terminal facilities, including the <br /> section of Terminal Avenue where the proposed improvements were to be made. Due to the expedience of <br /> the federal mandate, the Port and City agreed that all of the improvements should be constructed by the Port <br /> using Port funds. <br /> The funding sources are as follows: <br /> TEA-21 —Federal Grant $9,576.00 <br /> Port of Everett 2,179.00 <br /> Fund 301 —Arterial Streets 318.00 <br /> Total $12,073.00 <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Approve the attached ordinance closing the special improvement project entitled"Terminal Avenue <br /> Pedestrian/Bike Improvements,"Fund 303, Program 062, as established by Ordinance No. 2662-02. <br /> P W3(20 Close <br />
