Amount Budgeted $115,000.00 Expenditure Required $12,073.00 Account Number(s): PW3120 Budget Remaining $102,927.00 Additional Required - 0 - DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: The attached ordinance will close the special improvement project entitled, "Terminal Avenue Pedestrian/Bike Improvements,"Fund 303, Program 062. This fund was established to enable the construction of pedestrian and bicycle improvement including sidewalks, curbs and gutters on Terminal Avenue between California Street and Bond Street. During the design phase,the Port of Everett received a federal mandate to make certain security improvements to their South Terminal facilities, including the section of Terminal Avenue where the proposed improvements were to be made. Due to the expedience of the federal mandate, the Port and City agreed that all of the improvements should be constructed by the Port using Port funds. The funding sources are as follows: TEA-21 —Federal Grant $9,576.00 Port of Everett 2,179.00 Fund 301 —Arterial Streets 318.00 Total $12,073.00 RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Approve the attached ordinance closing the special improvement project entitled"Terminal Avenue Pedestrian/Bike Improvements,"Fund 303, Program 062, as established by Ordinance No. 2662-02.
