Account Number(s): UP 3238-5 <br /> Amount Budgeted $ 500,000- <br /> ° Additional Required $-0- <br /> DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: <br /> The Riverside properties purchased by the City in December 2005 from the Kimberly-Clark Corporation are being <br /> managed per the December 28,2005 Memorandum of Understanding between the City and KC. The environmental <br /> review divided the City's ownership into two areas to be reported to the Department of Ecology(the Chip <br /> MilUStorage Area and the Former Riverside Sawmill),with agreements needed to be signed on each property to enter <br /> the State's cleanup process. The environmental review and site investigations conducted under the MOU indicate a <br /> Department of Ecology. Once reported the City will enter Ecology's Voluntary Clean Up Program and must <br /> contract with Ecology to provide site specific technical consultations. <br /> Previously the Council authorized the Mayor to sign the agreement for the Chip Mill/Storage Area(on Dec <br /> 20, 2006).
