There will be no permanent human occupancy and no sprinkler of fire alarm will be installed. MATERIALS: This building will be constructed on an existing concrete slab. CMU Walls/Footing: Concrete CMU shall conform to the requirements of ASTM C-90,the standard specifications for load-bearing CMU. Further, all CMU's shall have a minimum face shell thickness oft inches. The first four(4)feet of CMU from the slab will be constructed using: • Mutual Materials Khaki, Ground Face Single Scored 8"x 8"x 16"blocks. The single scored blocks will have raked finish on joints and the mortar will be colored to match the blocks. CMU's above four(4)feet will be: • Mutual Materials Mesa Tan,Ground Face 8"x 8"x 16"blocks. Wall Reinforcement: Vertical reinforcement will be one(1)#5 rebar on 4 foot centers and on each side of openings. Vertical rebar will be drilled a minimum of four(4)inches and epoxy glued into the existing slab or footing. Horizontal reinforcement will be two(2)#4 rebar on 4 foot centers and on the top row; and two (2)#4 corner bars will be used at each corner with a minimum 2 foot overlap. Overlap of rebar will be 40x the bar diameter. All bond and vertical beams will be poured solid. Steel reinforcement bars will be 60 grade according to ASTM A615/A615M-05A; standard specification for deformed and plain billet-steel bars for concrete reinforcement. • Ceiling and Roof: Metal trusses and metal roofing will be engineered and provided by the supplier.
