6 <br /> LICENSE TO USE CITY PROPERTY <br /> Grantor: City of Everett <br /> Grantee: Sam Newland, dba Wrecking Ball Demolition, LLC <br /> Property: See attached Exhibit A and A-1 <br /> WHEREAS, Sam Newland, dba Wrecking Ball Demolition LLC, whose address is: <br /> 11014 3310 Chestnut Street, Everett, WA 98201, hereinafter referred to as <br /> "WRECKING BALL DEMOLITION LLC', desires to utilize City owned property for <br /> the purpose hereinafter set forth; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City is willing to grant WRECKING BALL DEMOLITION LLC <br /> authority to use a portion of City's property upon certain terms and conditions; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, the promises contained herein, <br /> and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby <br /> expressly acknowledged, the City licenses WRECKING BALL DEMOLITION LLCto <br /> use City's property upon the following terms and conditions: <br /> 1. LICENSED PROPERTY. The specific one-half of one acre area of City owned <br /> property subject to this License is described in Exhibit A and A-1 ("Property"). <br /> 2. TERM. This License shall be effective upon execution by the Mayor of the City and <br /> shall expire on December 31, 2007, unless terminated earlier upon 30-days notice per <br /> Section 7 below. <br /> 3. AUTHORIZED USE. WRECKING BALL DEMOLITION LLCmay only use the <br /> Property for the purpose of outdoor storage of empty containers that are used for the pick <br /> up and disposal of refuse. <br /> 4. MONTHLY FEE. WRECKING BALL DEMOLITION LLC shall pay Five <br /> Hundred Dollars ($500.00) each month on or before the 1st day of each month during the <br /> term of this License plus Lease Hold Tax at a rate of 12.84%, if applicable. <br /> page 1 <br /> 2 0 <br />
