1. 0 EVERETT COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> Based on this analysis, Everett's has more than sufficient population and employment capacity <br /> within the City limits to meet the adopted target for the City limits. Everett's 2005 plan does not <br /> meet the County's adopted targets within the UGA,but does provide sufficient capacity within <br /> the entire planning area to meet the combined targets. <br /> 3. Consistency with Snohomish County Tomorrow Population and Employment <br /> Allocations. <br /> Counties and cities must ensure, that taken collectively, comprehensive plans and development <br /> regulations provide sufficient capacity of land suitable to accommodate the housing and <br /> employment growth, as adopted in the applicable countywide planning policies and consistent <br /> with the 20-year population forecast from the Office of Financial Management. <br /> Snohomish County Tomorrow developed draft target ranges for population and employment and <br /> invited each jurisdiction to comment. In 2003, Planning Commission and City Council adopted <br /> preliminary targets and relayed that information to Snohomish County Tomorrow. The City <br /> adopted the low end of the range for population and the high end of the range for employment. <br /> Subsequently, Everett reduced the size of the Planning Area, and also reduced the targets. <br /> However Snohomish County Tomorrow adopted a preliminary target that was higher than <br /> Everett proposed for the unincorporated portion of Everett's Planning Area <br /> After each jurisdiction in the County adopts their 10 YcarComprchensive Plan Update, <br /> - . .. . e _ <br /> in the Countywide Planning Policies during 2005 2006. <br /> Should we leave this table in?
