The position of Transit Inspector shall be paid fifteen percent (15%) higher per hour than the <br /> top step bus operator. <br /> The City agrees that this settlement does not assure it the right to negotiate from the average <br /> wage concept. <br /> A longevity schedule based on years of service for all employees listed in Article 4 shall be <br /> provided as follows: <br /> After completion of 4 years, $.230 per hour <br /> After completion of 8 years, $.374 per hour <br /> After completion of 12 years, $.518 per hour <br /> After completion of 16 years, $.661 per hour <br /> After completion of 20 years, $.805 per hour <br /> After completion of 24 years, $.949 per hour <br /> After completion of 28 years, $1.09 per hour <br /> Longevity shall be calculated based on the employee's adjusted employment date. <br /> Section 6: <br /> Bus maintenance persons shall receive an additional five percent (5%) per hour for hours <br /> worked between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. <br /> Section 7: <br /> Operators who are requested by their supervisors to act as operator trainers shall be paid $1.50 <br /> per hour premium pay in addition to their regular hourly rate for the actual hour(s) the operator <br /> trainer spends in the trainer capacity. <br /> Section 8: <br /> Any operator with less than ninety (90) minutes between assignments shall be paid straight <br /> through at regular pay and he/she can be worked as an operator during the ninety (90) minutes <br /> or less between assignments. <br /> Section 9: <br /> Employees who serve on jury duty shall receive the difference in pay between jury duty pay and <br /> their regular City wage. <br /> Section 10: <br /> Transit employees who are elected by the Union and attend Safety Improvement Committee <br /> meetings and the Accident Review Committee meetings shall be compensated at the <br /> employee's regular straight time rate of pay, or overtime rate of pay, depending on that <br /> employee's pay status. <br /> 26 <br />
