Toilet fixtures shal.l be <br />of sanitary design and easily cleanable. Toilet facilities, <br />including rooms and fixtures, shall be kept in a clean <br />condition and in good repair. Toilet tissue shall be <br />provided. Easi13 cleanable receptacles shall be provided <br />for waste materials, a�d one such receptacle in the women's <br />toilet room shall be covered." <br />This section has been interpreted by Snohomish Health District as <br />requiring toilet facilities for employees to be located within the <br />premises of each food establishment. <br />Your request for a variance from the requirement that toilet facilities <br />be located inside the premises of the fast food establishment to be <br />located at the site of the former Peachy's Ice Cream Parlor, 7601 <br />Evergreen Way, Everett, Washington 98203 has been reviewed and is <br />hereby approved on the basis that: (1) Toilet facilities remain <br />available within the mall area at a distance less than fifty feet <br />from your establishment; �2) The restroom facilities will be main- <br />tained in a clean and sanitary manner and will be checked by your <br />staff on a regular basis, several times daily. <br />This variance is not automatically transferaole should you transfer <br />or sell the food establishment.
